Maybe most impactful thing I have to tell you is that once I started sitting down at the beginning of every month and filling in this financial spreadsheet with my incomings / outgoings, and overall savings, it was the first time I really felt in control of my life.

If you have a partner, do it WITH THEM - do not do it alone. I cannot stress that enough. Your joint finances need to be a group effort.

Listen, I know money is terrifying. But the more familiar you get with your spending, the more you shift the balance from anxiety about the future, to positivity and pride about the present - because you’re informed. You’re no longer in the dark. You can make informed choices.

How to Use This Tracker

• Enter your income and expenses in Cashflow.

• Use the savings tab to see how much you've got (this is the most important tab - the outcome of which should impact your spending).•

• Finally, update the Summary cells with the new column names for each month to see what percent of your savings is where.

• Delete this tab once you've read these insutrctions. Make this sheet your own!
