ForumRae GoodmanCartersville, GAIn 2022, I broke my leg. At the time, I resided in a 5-bedroom home with lots of steps. I contacted my realtor to discuss my dilemma. I needed a home that would enable me to care for myself (on one level) as I am a single middle-age woman. He suggested I find a home to reside in. After 3 weeks, I found a commerical zoned small home and moved in. I nursed myself to health, but realized that I can use this house to scale my childcare business. I contacted my contractor and we began renovating this home. I resided there for over a year. Now that is complete, I gave my tenant 30-days notice and moved back into my 5-bedroom home. Within a few weeks, I intend to move my childcare business into this home (capacity 37 children). Now that the small home is fully rehabbed,I wish to refianance or HELOC as this is zoned commercial, but I resided in it for a period of time so it was purchased with an FHA.
