Let's adopt the old Bliss projects!
2
Many of the old Bliss projects have been continued (and finished!) by other groups. Would you like to adopt any of the ones that weren't?
3
We have books, scans, and even translations for many of them! (Thanks to Kinky digging them up!)
4
5
What can we offer?
6
1) Click on the "resources" tab to see what we have for each manga.
7
2) For each title we're adopting out, we list all the resources we have. Possibilities:
8
Book = Physical manga copy. You will need to scan this! Always in Japanese.
9
The book is free, but you need to pay shipping (from the USA).
10
Raws = Unedited raw manga scans (with few exceptions, not debound). Always in Japanese. 300dpi or better.
11
Cleans = Raw manga scans that have been leveled/rotated/cropped/resized to 700px wide. Note that Japanese text is not removed.
12
JPN translations = Translation from the original Japanese version of the manga.
13
CHN translations = Translation from the Chinese version of the manga.
14
Note that you must have a Japanese translator proofread these against the Japanese raws! Names, locations, and sfxs will not be translated correctly.
15
16
How can you adopt?
17
1) Firstly, make sure your group has the resources to start the project!
18
You must start releasing the project within 3 months of adoption.
19
You must release consistently (one chapter at least every 3 months) until it is complete.
20
If you cannot dedicate that much time to the project, please don't adopt it! The last thing we want are these projects to sit on a future project page or get stalled.
21
2) Pick one project and email me (kalendel@gmail.com) with your group details and adoption request.
22
I will first check and make sure the majority of your projects are released consistently ;)
23
Once I see that you're releasing the adopted project consistently, you can adopt more projects if you'd like to.
24
25
For any title that doesn't get adopted immediately, we'll try to finish them off at The End (the-end-manga.livejournal.com)!
26
Adoption will remain open indefinitely, until all titles have been adopted out! Feel free to apply in a few months when you have a translator/editor ready!
27
Please share this spreadsheet and spread the word to any group who might have the resources to adopt any of these projects! Thanks!
