6 | Welcome to the National Rv Training Academy! Our courses have a mix of class time and hands-on training. In order to give you the hands-on training you are paying for, we recommend the following tools. These are the specific brands we recommend. We've seen a great disparity in quality and ease of use with other brands. Many of our students end up buying the recommended tools after buying a different brand. If you bring a multimeter that does not have the functions we recommend, you will miss out on much of the hands-on training. We understand that cost is an issue and we want to keep the cost down. If you still wish to bring a different multimeter then you are free to do so. IMPORTANT: NOT ALL MULTIMETERS ARE THE SAME. Most meters look alike so you can't go by looks.
