The District of Columbia Council and the U.S. Congress are also in session. Delaware, the New Hampshire Senate, New York, and the Rhode Island House are in recess subject to the call of the chair. Pennsylvania adjourned its 2020 legislative session sine die November 30 in accordance with SR 3. The following states will adjourn their 2020 legislative sessions on the dates provided: New Jersey (December 21), Michigan, New York, Ohio and Rhode Island (December 31) and Massachusetts (January 5). California convened its 2021 session with an organizational session on December 7. The legislature will reconvene on January 4. The Puerto Rico legislature adjourned its seventh special session on December 26. The Missouri Senate adjourned its special session focused on COVID-19 priority bills on December 10. The House adjourned its special session on December 16, according to the House schedule. Minnesota adjourned a one day special session on December 14 to extend the COVID-19 peacetime emergency and discuss virus related aid for business and workers.
