2	1	Can honors be completely comprised of non-theory courses. For.eg BTP1(6) + BTP2(12) + RnD(6)	Yes, there is no restriction on number of research credits in honors, so its upto you. But all the course should be of CS xxx type only in honors and there should be minimum of 6 research credits, thats all.

4	3	What's the procedure to tag MG minor courses as institute electives if possible at all.	It completely requires consent from the professor of that MG Course and SOM HOD, though it might not require any permission as such from our department. You might need to go through retagging for it (M to IE), cause they don't allow it during the normal registration.
5	4	For M to D tag option, it need HoD permission, is there any specific criteria for this. Like the courses should be related to CS related?	You'll have to go through manual re-tagging. If the coure is allowed to be tagged department elective there'll be no problem tagging
6	5	Are blacklisted course allowed to be tagged as dept. electives for the other 18 credits that can be tagged as dept. electives but they aren't from the department.	No, Blacklisted courses can't be tagged as elective
7	6	Are blacklisted course allowed to be tagged as insti electives?	No, Blacklisted courses can't be tagged as elective
8	7	Is there a limit on the number of credits which are of research type - RnD/BTP/Seminar to be tagged as Honors?	Refer to clarification of query 1
9	8	Can we take more than 2 RnD courses?	No, after the limit (of 2) RnDs can be taken as ALC
10	9	Out of the 36 credits in Department Electives, only 12 can comprise of BTP/Seminar/RnD? Isn't this very restrictive since they are CS xxx courses.	You can tag more than 18 credits with CSxxx as DE ( max 36 DE credits)
11	10	Can the department electives exceed 36 credits?	No, only 36 credits will be considered (expandable upto 38)
12	11	Are whitelisted courses allowed to be tagged as honours courses?	No, courses(theory/non-theory) should strictly have CSxxx code
13	12	Is there a criteria for writing pursuing Honors degree in resume? The point being can all honors can be tagged as dept. electives to boost CPI before placements?	Yes, you can change all courses to dept electives to boost CPI before placements, but once tag changed can't be reverted back. Moreover post your retagging, only if there is atleast 1 or more courses tagged as honors, Placement Resume Verification Team would agree to mention it on resume or else you might have to remove it from resume.

15	14	Limit of number of minor courses, that can be taken in one semester	You can take multiple minor courses in a semster, provided they run in different slots, however, most of the minor courses run in slot 5, so courses get clashed and you at max get only one course to take. Moreover in minor pre-registration you only get one course to choose and you probably can register for another during main registration but you moght not be able to tag it as minor right then and you might have to manualy retag it later. However, I strongly suggest not to do that, unless you are desperately need that.
16	15	Is it possible to tag DE minor courses as electives?	There are some minor courses hosted by DE dept that can't be taken as electives. You can consult the instructor or the DE department
17	16	If we get S grade in an alc then can we tag it as a department elective without a re exam?	if the course is allowed to be tagged as Dept elective then it can be re-tagged
18	17	What would be the criteria for enrolling in a minor course? What courses would be beneficial? Is there any way to have a course of your choice if CPI is lower than the cutoff?	You'll have to go through the pre-reg process ( that'll start few weeks prior to registration). Based on the recent changes to the pre-registration process, if you don't get a particular minor of your interest through pre-reg, you can choose to be in wait-list by registering during main registration, however from now waitlist is based on CPI and not first-come-first-serve. You will be notified if you were alloted the course via waitlist and you have to confirm back within a day, or else it goes to next person.
19	18	What are the problems that occur because of retagging	General rule is you can re-tag a course exactly once
20	19	How many courses can we retag?	There is no limit on the number of courses that you can re-tag. Re-tagging will be available to students ONLY TWICE in their entire tenure,first time before placements (Second Last Semester Starting) and second time post curriculum completion( Last Semester). The courses which have been re-tagged during the opportunity given during the previous window will be debarred from the re-tagging process.
21	20	How do you register for a RND course?	Register for the course code 490(RND 1) and 485(RND2), after a month or so, you'll receive a mail reagrding the topic of RnD and the name of the guide, which later the guide will approve.
22	21	How due register for a BTP?	Similar as RND, the course code for BTP1 is 492, and BTP2 is 496
