What's the rationale behind changing the program to an MD? Will the number of years be shortened? Currently for domestic applicants, they are not allowed to have any previous tertiary studies(with the exception of a maximum of 2 years studies in Adelaide University). Will the change in program to an MD facilitates the possibility of allowing domestic applicants who have done previously tertiary studies outside of Adelaide university and even overseas tertiary education to be eligible for domestic entry? How would you differentiate yourself from the MD program at Flinders, keeping in mind that Flinders University accepts previous tertiary studies for domestic entry and they are a 4-year program? Is the Medical School switching to MD? Why?What is the current status and expected date of introduction of the MD program and how will that affect 3rd years?Is there a way for students to be involved in research informally without being enrolled in programs such as honours / research elective?Is the faculty doing anything to improve management of MyUni/Canvas? (Issues affecting the year 5 cohort include: SMTS lecturers complaining of emailing their slides weeks in advance but not having them uploaded, multiple dead and deactivated links across multiple year 5 courses, incorrectly set up assignment pages not allowing submission of assessment forms/tasks, outdated resources such as Australian Heart Foundation guidelines from over 10 years ago, missing lecture recordings, etc.)With the recent state government changes, how will it affect internship positions next year

Since there is an intention to switch to an MD program, is there a possibility for international students to transfer to domestic places in the MD program? Given that other Australian universities have this option for International students to be transferred to domestic places, is there a possibility for it to happen for the new MD program? Will a switch to MD affect second year students? If so, how?Can we please get an option this year to pick our OSCE times? The system on the old MLTU website was well-received and much preferred to the newly randomly allocated OSCE spots (as some people prefer to do their OSCE in the morning vs the afternoon)Will the university offer more places for students to do popular MSA's like peads ICU in the future?Are there any efforts underway to share learning resources between year 5 city and rural cohorts?There's rumours that even Category 1 students may not be guranteed internship positions next. What is your (the dean's) comment on that?

Will students be able to transfer to MD, or will we continue on with BMMS? If we are transferred to the MD, is there any idea of how that will be accommodated?Will individual OSCE station feedback be available to students? We were only given an overall percentage last year, so will each station mark be available? Will marks and percentages be given in addition to grade bands for year 5 exams this year, as was promised but not delivered last year?

Will we have exams in 6th year if we switch to an MD? WIll our course become an MD/Med Sci course? And what year will we expected to do the research component?Will individual station marks be given in addition to an overall grade band for the year 5 end of year OSCE this year, as was planned but not implemented last year?

Will we be NGP is we are an MD? If so, what will happen to our years that we have already not got marks for? Will station recordings be made available to students after the year 5 end of year OSCE?

WIll Internship entry become merit based if we become an MD? Considering the 2017 year 4 and 5 MCQ exam papers contained a large amount of spelling errors, grammatical mistakes, wrong terminology, and unfinished sentences, as well as incorrect front page instructions that distressed students and required exam invigilators to announce a correction mid-exam, will the faculty be making any attempts to proof read the year 4 and 5 MCQ exam papers this year?

What is the medical school doing in regards to the bullying and harassment that occurs outside of the formal university campus, into hospitals? How are students protected in these capacities? And is there a way for students to anonymously report incidents in an easy way online? If there is, this should be advertised and easy assessable for ALL students. Will uncompressed images of appropriate resolution be used in exam papers this year, as opposed to the poor quality pixelated images used in previous exam papers across all year levels?

Is Internship in Australia shifting to a merit-based selection model similar to that employed in Victoria? If so, how will the University of Adelaide determine a student's overall grade (as each uni in Vic employs a different strategy). How will the university consider study that has already been awared an NGP, considering the fact that the presence of grading affects students' efforts towards the assessment? Will the MD provide any advantage to the competitiveness of students for positions if merit-based selection is adopted. When will the switch from MBBS to MD occur?

Will ongoing implementation of the changes be accompanied by increased transparency and involvement of student's in the decision making process? How will the switch to MD affect career competitiveness for existing MBBS graduates (including beyond internship, such as competing for entry into fellowship training programs)?

What is the faculty doing to protect study spaces for students Will the university offer existing MBBS graduates any way to obtain the MD qualification (eg. an online course)?

Considering the lack of intern and specialty training capacity in Australia relative to the number of medical school graduates, does the dean/uni oppose growth in medical student numbers both locally (University of Adelaide) and nationally, and if so what action is being taken?

What action is the dean/uni taking to oppose creation of new medical schools in Australia?

Will the faculty be reintroducing the functionality of the old MLTU website which enabled students in clinical years to look up what rotations other students are on? (This was useful for coordinating with other students to find out when and where to go for rotations and who to contact, particularly for MSAs where most information on Sonia has incorrect contact details and outdated locations such as old RAH wards.)

How does the medical school propose/intend to ameliorate/address the current prevalence of sexual harrassment, bullying, discrimination and verbal assault perpetrated against medical students in various hospitals? How will conflicts of interest, bias and lack of transparency be addressed if/when such harrassment occur by clinical placeholders or affiliates of the university?

Why are "letters of good standing" / "banding letters" no longer available to students for free through the faculty but must now be purchased through the University Online Shop, considering: they were offered to students for free in the past, they are usually a requirement to organise certain sixth year placements, and they are a student service which one would expect would be covered by the hundreds of dollars paid annually in student services and amenities fees (SSAF)?
