This year our enrollment increased so much after the 10 day mark we were able to add three new classrooms thus having to hire 6 positions. We are extremely proud of our dual language program (Spanish) in which we moved up one more grade level this year. We now have it in 2nd grade. These students/native teachers do an amazing job teaching our students in Spanish and in English. This February 27, 2020 we opened a state of the art STREAM lab for our 3rd grade students. Students will be working through various modules as it relates to science. Some of the modules include healthy living, the environment, etc. Students are enjoying these modules and will continue with STREAM through high school as our feeder schools have implemented labs as well. This year we are also in the beginning implementation phase of "Capturing Kids Hearts" as our students deal with several adverse situations daily to include homelessness, poverty and other factors that interfere with their learning.
