I hold a masters degree in cello performance and a Ph.D. in music theory. Before moving to Cleveland I resided in Howard County where I taught a large class of cello students. Students from that class consistently won principal chairs of the Howard County GT orchestras. They were consistently accepted into Maryland All-State, where three of them served as principal cellist. One of my students won the Columbia Orchestra Competition and two of them now hold masters degrees from the Cleveland Institute of Music.
