Nevada County Transit Services Will Provide Fare Free Service Though April 30, 2020

As our community navigates the current Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation, Nevada County Transit Services is continuing to provide services while implementing best practices to slow the spread of coronavirus. To make transit easily accessible to those who need it, Nevada County Transit is offering fare free service on both Gold Country Stage fixed route and Gold Country Lift paratransit services effective March 19, 2020 through April 30, 2020.

Astrakhan workers working in quarantine will be transported for free
Free buses launched in Astrakhan on April 1. They run on 8 routes. You can use transport only with a special pass. Buses operate in the mornings (from 5:40 to 10:00) and in the evenings (from 17:00 to 21:00). Transport runs on a schedule with an interval of 20-30 minutes. Buses are free of charge. However, it is worth noting that only Astrakhan people who are forced to work during the period of universal isolation can use this transport. Entrance to buses will be carried out only by passes.

The Nizhny Municipality made public transport free of charge for those who, due to their kind of activity, despite all the regimes, continue to serve. The head of the city, Vladimir Panov, spoke about this in his Instagram account. It is a pity that for some reason grocery workers were not assigned to particularly important professions, although they are certainly at least as risky as the rest.

В ежедневном режиме они спасают, лечат, доставляют продукты тем, кто сейчас находится в зоне особого риска – горожанам «серебряного» возраста. У них нет возможности уйти в режим самоизоляции, поэтому было принято решение освободить их от платы за проезд.
