Persons belonging to vulnerable groups face numerous obstacles in exercising their rights their fundamental rights guaranteed by law. Obstacles are so financial (court costs, fees lawyer) and social (discrimination by the majority population and state authorities). In Romania, free legal aid is provided only to people with an average monthly income per member family up to 300 RON (about 65 EUR). This threshold is extremely low in relation to the gross minimum wage on the economy, and the way of proving the material state is done with an impressive number of documents, so few people belonging to vulnerable groups really have access to justice. Additionally, lawyers pro bono - an instrument to support social justice - is not regulated and encouraged in Romania, which prevents lawyers from supporting social causes in their communities and engaging in strategic litigation which would advance the protection of human rights. At the same time, there is a serious lack of understanding from the courts, magistrates and public institutions regarding access to justice from the perspective of human rights. The staff of the Romanian courts does not recognize the vulnerability of certain people and considers, for example, that HIV / AIDS infected persons, Roma, children or single mothers are not among the vulnerable groups. The lack of access to justice for these people is also due to their fears of stigmatization and lack of information on their rights.

Minte Forte focuses on psycho-education, personal development and psychotherapy and counseling. Our primary goal is to cultivate healthy thinking and behavioral styles in adults, adolescents or children. Forte mind organizes bimonthly local events psycho-education on various topics such as: self-acceptance, stress management, decision making, exploring emotions, strengthening personal relationships and more. The formats are very different events: workshops, film screenings and discussions, group discussion moderated by psychologists, psycho-marathon, the participants have the opportunity to practice various psychological techniques useful in daily life etc. Mind Forte also organizes climbing personal development activities where initiation in this sport is matched by psychologically guided activities that bring to light the emotions and personal resources involved in rock encounter and extraction of life lessons from this high intensity experience . Of the international projects run by Minte Forte, the most important are: -Strong Young Minds, a two-year project where the organization's trainers and partners have created a socio-emotional education curriculum for adolescents through non-formal methods; - European Volunteer Programs funded by Erasmus +, where Minte Forte hosts young volunteers from different countries and involves them in supporting socio-emotional development workshops through non-formal education and arts, for children and adolescents from Cluj schools.
