Pick-up is EVERY WEDNESDAY from 1-3:30 PM at BFUHS beginning June 25, 2025 and ending August 20, 2025. Each kit will include items equivalent to 7 days of breakfast & lunch for one child (items include: VT produce, fresh local bread, artisan cheeses, organic bananas, breakfast cereals, fluid milk, and much more!) Each week's sign up will be posted on Thursdays- Please sign your kids up each week to help us ensure we prepare enough meals-- signing up helps us out greatly, but it is not required. All meals are for children 18 years of age and under only. Children may receive only 1 breakfast and lunch per day. Parents/guardians can pick up meals on behalf of children without them present. The pick up site is located at the Bellows Falls Union High school 406 High School Rd, Westminster VT 05158. Enter the driveway and there will be signs directing you to the side of the high school. Each meal kit contains seven breakfasts and seven lunches for one child (18 and under), featuring nutritious items such as Vermont produce, fresh local bread, artisan cheeses, organic bananas, breakfast cereals, fluid milk, and more.
Distribution Details:
Location: Behind Brattleboro Union High School at 97 Sunny Acres Rd. Access Sunny Acres Rd via S. Main Street. Drive-up distribution.
Pick-Up Day and Time: Every Thursday from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM, starting June 26, 2025, and ending August 14, 2025.
Meals Provided: Each kit includes 7 days’ worth of breakfast and lunch (one breakfast and one lunch per child per day).
Sign-Up: Weekly sign-ups are posted every Friday on the WSESU website (www.wsesu.org) to help us plan meal quantities. Sign-up is strongly encouraged but not required.
Eligibility and Access: Free meals for all children 18 and under. Parents/guardians may pick up kits on behalf of children without children present.
Additional Information: This non-congregate model accommodates families with limited transportation by requiring only one weekly trip.
