This worksheet is designed to help determine a reward points budget for your company. It is divided into two sections: Points to Spend and Points to Send.

Points to Spend: These are points that recipients can redeem immediately for a reward. Common use cases include milestones such as birthdays.
Points to Send: These are points that can be transferred from one user to another. For example, if someone wants to recognize an employees efforts, they can send $50 worth of points as added incentive. Please make changes only in the yellow-highlighted cells. Avoid modifying other areas to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

Instructions:
Customize Dollar Amounts by Group:
For birthdays, you can customize the dollar amount given based on groups. For example, higher-ranked individuals can receive a higher dollar amount. For anniversaries, the amount can be tailored based on both tenure and group.

Customize Tenure for Anniversaries:
Use your data to identify trends, such as specific tenures where employees tend to leave the organization. For example, if you observe a high drop-off rate around the three-year mark, consider allocating higher rewards at that milestone to encourage retention. Similarly, you can adjust rewards for different groups, such as offering more significant amounts for leadership roles or long-standing employees. This data-driven approach allows for more strategic decision-making and can help address specific organizational challenges.

Applying a Blanket Approach:
If preferred, you can implement a uniform strategy. For instance, assign a fixed amount for all birthday recipients, regardless of title or tenure.

Group Strategies:
While groups may differ, it’s not mandatory to create separate strategies unless you find it beneficial to do so.

Instructions:
Identify the Groups: Determine the different groups that will be assigned points. These could include employees, teams, stores, or specific roles within the organization.

Establish Criteria for Points Allocation: Consider what each group will use the points for. For example:

Contests: Allocate points based on creation of company contests.
Performance-Based Recognition: Assign points to individuals or teams based on their performance metrics, such as top sales representatives, top-performing stores, or employees achieving specific targets.
Ad Hoc Recognition: Award points for one-time achievements, such as completing a special project, going above and beyond in customer service, or handling an unexpected challenge.
Determine the Points System: Decide how many points each group will receive based on the criteria established.
