This calculator is intended to help states compile the data they need to apply for TREC funding, create realistic TREC plans, and to maximize the impact of the TREC funding.

Step 1. Start with the state data tab. You will fill in the data on Column C that is specific to your state.

Step 2. Click the link under Column B to go to the reference site (Census.gov, White House, DOE, etc)

Step 3. Navigate on those sites to your specific site's data. For example, on the first link you can search your state name in the search bar at the top of the page.

Step 4: Click the TREC Dashboard tab. There you will find the number of households needing energy retrofits, the number of houses likely funding by your state's IRA allocation, and the number of trainees need by industry.
