3	Welcome to the <Name> Community Lending Library! It's a place to share things we want to maintain ownership of, but are willing to lend out! Seeing all that we have collectively is powerful, and with a little bit of planning, we can share resources to buy less stuff, save space, and reduce our usage of Amazon and Facebook (Buy Nothing groups).

8	Lending / Borrowing Instructions
9	Good options for lending are things you don't use often, but you want to hold onto. Camping supplies, infrequently used equipment, travel gear, kitchen supplies, party equipment, and more!

11	📌 How It Works	Add items, borrow, return!
12	➕ To Add an Item	Go to the "Library" tab and enter details.
13	🔄 To Borrow an Item	Find an available item, email the owner to coordinate pickup, and write your name under "Borrower."
14	✅ To Return an Item	Clear your name from "Borrower" and mark "Available."
15	📅 Return Policy	Coordinate directly with owner for loan period.
16	⚠️ Lost/Damaged Items	Coordinate directly with the owner.

18	What if something goes wrong?
19	We’re all sharing in good faith, and accidents happen! Here’s what to do if an item is lost or damaged:

21	🔄 Minor wear & tear is expected – Please treat borrowed items with care, but we understand normal use can cause some wear.
22	💬 If an item is lost or broken, let the owner know as soon as possible.
23	⚖️ If possible, offer to replace or repair the item – This is a community effort, and honesty goes a long way.
24	🤝 If something valuable is at risk, discuss expectations beforehand – Some items may require extra care or agreement before lending.

26	This is a trust-based system, so let’s all be thoughtful and respectful of each other’s things! 😊

28	Giving Instructions
29	Good options for giving are things that can be stored easily and shared over time. Small household items, toys, books, gadgets, craft supplies. If you're looking to get it out of your house ASAP, Buy Nothing on Facebook is probably better.
