712-441-6931At the start of each performance, you will start a provided timer and watch carefully to ensure that the performance does not exceed the time allotted for that event. Instructions will be given for each event. Some events use time cards, some do not. Some events call for the use of a whistle, some ask you to stand and say "STOP." You must do so very boldly. Any event that does not stop could be disqualified, so watching the time carefully is important.

712-539-3017Between performances, you make sure the door to the performance center stays OPEN to invite audience members in. Make sure you are friendly and knowledgeable of what is happening in your center to assist anyone who has questions. Once the performance is ready to begin, make sure no one is running to try to get into the center, then close the door and make sure no one enters during the performance. You will have to stay outside of the room. Also, make sure the environment outside the room remains quiet for the performers in the room.
