Backpack
RaidLight Responsiv 25-Liter Ladies Race Vest size extra-small
320
This is the 2018 model. I didn't use the two 600-milliliter EasyFlasks that came with the bag. I cut off one stretchy pocket on the outside of main bag & trimmed many straps to size. It was advertized as 280 grams without the EasyFlasks & 350 grams with the EasyFlasks, but the pack I received was 336 grams without the EasyFlasks & before I modified it.

Head torch & complete set of spare batteries
ZebraLight H51 & 2 lithium AA batteries72
I purchased this in 2013, & ZebraLight has developed new models since then that are brighter & weigh about the same. This model has 6 settings with the highest projecting 200 lumens. I carry only the light & metal clip, which I hook onto my hat.
6
10 safety pins4
They are used to pin your 2 bib numbers on. I brought 15 because I always lose a few in the wind.
7

Since you can't carry one on an airplane, I bought this from a shop in Morocco in the smallest size they had.

19
Electronic tracking tagProvided by race organization?
In 2019, the race organization attached this to your pack during check-in via a zip tie. It weighs a couple grams at most.
20
Bib numbersProvided by race organization11
In 2019, the race organization gave you 2 bib numbers during check-in. Then, they gave you 1 more on the second day of Stage 4 so that you had a fresh one to wear on the final 2 stages. You weren't required to keep the old one.
21
RoadbookProvided by race organization124
In 2019, the race organization gave you this on the bus ride to the bivouac before the race. You were required to carry it all week.
22
Salt tabletsProvided by race organization0
In 2019, the race organization didn't require you to carry their salt tablets if you carried your own electrolyte tablets. (In past years, they required you to carry theirs even if you had your own.)
23
Shit bagsProvided by race organization19
In 2019, the race organization gave you 3 at check-in, & then 2 at the finish line of each stage. Each bag weighs 19 grams.
24
Water-bottle bagProvided by race organization?
In 2019, the race organization gave you this bag at check-in which you used to carry your watter bottles from the finish line of each stage to your tent. You were required to carry it all week. I don't know the bag's weight but it has to be under 10 grams.
25
Glow stickProvided by race organization?
In 2019, race organization gave you this at a checkpoint before dark during Stage 4. You were required to wear it on the outside of your pack while running at night during Stage 4. You weren't required to keep it after completing the stage.
