Budget Template
for an 18-month CPP Learning Collaborative

INSTRUCTIONS:

PLEASE NOTE: Training budgets must be developed with trainers and/or the organization in charge of training in your area
as different organizations may require optional elements (e.g. supervisor calls, administrative costs) or may have
additional fees or different costs. The budget template offers guidance on the budgeting process but is not a final budget.

Please be aware that given the intensity and length of the training, there is limited training capacity. The demand for training is growing and
may outpace the capacity of trainers to provide training upon request. Thus, it is critical that you ensure that a trainer is available to conduct
training even as you apply for funding. The Development Team cannot ensure that a trainer will be available if advance arrangements have not
been made.

This template can be used to develop a scope of work and budget for a CPP Learning Collaborative.
Tab 2 outlines other agency costs related to participating in a CPP LC. This sheet is set-up so that once you enter the trainer rates
and the number of call groups, the cost for the required training elements and all light gray cells will be automatically calculated.
If trainers are not involved in specific learning components, you can edit the cells to remove them from specific activities.

Most trainers charge $3000 per day and $375 per consult call. Trainers with signfiicant experience (e.g. Alicia Lieberman, the developer) are more expensive.
Again, please ensure that you have received a budget directly from a trainer and/or training organization prior to applying for funding
or making a plan to have your team participate in CPP training.
