|Budget Template |
for an 18-month CPP Learning Collaborative
This template can be used to develop a scope of work and budget for a CPP Learning Collaborative. Tab 2 outlines other agency costs related to participating in a CPP LC.
Please be aware that given the intensity and length of the training, there is limited training capacity. The demand for training is growing and
may outpace the capacity of trainers to provide training upon request. Thus, it is critical that you ensure that a trainer is available to conduct
training even as you apply for funding. The Development Team cannot ensure that a trainer will be available if advance arrangements have not
This sheet is set-up so that once you enter the trainer rates and the number of call groups, the cost for the required training elements and all light gray cells will be automatically calculated.
If trainers are not involved in specific learning components, you can edit the cells to remove them from specific activities.
Most trainers charge $3000 per day and $375 per consult call. Trainers with signfiicant experience (e.g. Alicia Lieberman, the developer) are more expensive.
|Training Team||Trainer Name||Day Rate||Hourly consult call rate |
(includes prep time)
|Trainer 1||$3,000||$375||The number of trainers involved in providing a CPP LC depends on the size of the group to be trained and trainer and site preferences.|
Please consult with the CPP trainer(s) you plan to work with regarding the number of trainers who will be involved in your training.
|Consultation Group Set-Up||Budget Period |
|# participants anticipated||Ideally a budget period of 2 years allows for prep time and wrap-up. Many systems may want additional calls (after the 18 month period) to support participants in completing calls if they had a leave of absence (e.g. due to illness or pregnancy) during the training period.|
