Team Registration & Match Format

1)
Each team may register up to fifteen (15) players for the league. However, only twelve (12) players may be named for each match.

Match duration is set at 15 minutes per quarter, with break intervals of 3 – 5 – 3 minutes.

Each team is required to provide one (1) scorer and one (1) timekeeper for all games. Both officials must be seated together

throughout the game to ensure accurate recording of scores and match timing.

Official scorecards may be purchased from Netball Singapore (Multi-Purpose Hall 2) at $3 per set.

5)
Completed scorecards must be submitted to Netball Singapore (via the drop-box) immediately after each match
16
to facilitate timely updating of results.

Teams are reminded to ensure that all scorecards are duly signed by the officiating umpires before submission.

Team Attire and Bibs

Players must be attired in matching team uniforms for every match.

Teams are strongly encouraged to use the officialy playing bibs provided by Netball Singapore.

First Aid & Injuries

Teams are strongly advised to bring their own first aid kits and ice packs for injury management. Please note that medics and

ice packs will not be provided on-site.

Team Umpires

10)
Nominated team umpires are required to officiate matches assigned by the Netball Singapore Umpire Coordinator. Team

umpires must report at least fifteen (15) minutes before their allocated match.

Teams are responsible for ensuring that their nominated umpires are informed of their assigned officiating duties.

If a nominated team umpire reports late or fails to turn up for an assigned match:

Two (2) league points will be deducted from the team's accummulated points; and

A penalty fee of $50 will be imposed on the team.

In the event of match postponement due to wet weather, the originally assigned team umpire will remain responsible for officiating

the rescheduled fixture, which will typically take place on Friday evenings.

Postponement of Matches

14)
Netball Singapore will make decisions regarding weather-related postponements at least 1.5 hours prior to the scheduled match time.

All postponement notices and updates will be communicated through respective WhatsApp groups.

Reserved matches will generally be scheduled on Friday evenings. Should there be a large number of postponed matches, Netball

Singapore reserves the right to extend the league schedule and/or allocate additional reserved matches on other weekday evenings.

Self-Postponement & Walkovers

17)
If a team is unable to participate in a scheduled match (including matches rescheduled to reserved dates), the team must:

Arrange a self-postponement directly with their opponent; and

Inform Netball Singapore in writing at least five (5) days in advance.

Please note that courts and umpires will not be provided by Netball Singapore for self-postponed matches.

Any team intending to give a walkover must notify Netball Singapore at least five (5) working days before the scheduled match.

The following will apply:

Two (2) league points will be deducted from the forfeiting team; and

Two (2) league points will be awarded to the opposing team.

Teams that fail to provide the required five (5) working days' notice for a walkover will incur an additional penalty fee of $50.
