* Climbing helmets for children are commercially available e.g. Edelrid, Petzl, Black Diamond, Climbing Technology and Camp all manufacture helmets specifically for children.

** Dyneema/Spectra/UHMWPE slings CANNOT be used for clipping yourself into an anchor. Tests have shown that due to the non-dynamic properties of this material, relatively small falls lead to high loads and can result in the failure of the anchor or sling.
