Instructions: Save a copy to your Google Drive or download as an Excel spreadsheet. Review all rows before starting to become familiar with the categories of expenses.

Do not enter amounts that are deducted from your paycheck (ie. pre-tax expenses such as your 401k, health insurance, or other work benefits).

Complete the light green fields each month. If you need to add more rows, make sure that you insert rows in the middle of each section, not at the beginning or end. Keep in mind that this might impact the automatic calculations for annual savings and the total income/expenses.

Click on the "Example" tab on the bottom left to see an example of how to fill out the spreadsheet. Once done, click on the "Budget" tab to enter your values.
