She understood places more than people. She knows where the white hallways lead to inside hospitals, how the light refracts at the bottom of her school pool, that the beaches in Sapporo aren’t nearly as vibrant as the beaches in Okinawa, and the way to be closer to the sky is by flying on a plane with goodbyes tucked under the tongue. Although she never saw anything wrong with knowing these little details, there is a lingering wish weighing on her mind to know about people more. Regardless of the short time spent with them.

Amare knew very little about herself, save for the details about the faulty heart of hers. She gave her parents a scare when she had ocean blue skin as a baby, which led up to her needing surgery during the first year of her life. Eventually they were able to put a name to this, Tetralogy of Fallot.

As a child, she never understood the worries her mother and father carried whenever she wanted to play outside like other children. Neither the complicated words the doctors spoke that were an add on as to why she couldn't do most things she wished to do. Her free-spirited behavior made her out to be a troublemaker in the family. The eagerness to live freely only made her parents more concerned about her future. To the point where this frustrated Amare, unsure as to why she could never be fully trusted. Especially when she awakened her telekinesis powers to help with house chores- she only found herself being scolded for her well-being. Growing a little rebellious, flimsy promise was made to not use her powers…while solemnly using them around her grandmother for short-lived praises when picking up small fruits off of the table. However, with time she came to accept the idea of what sacrifice is like. Peeking at hospital bills, counting the hours of the day when her parents were at work, listening to stories from her grandmother and aunt about the woman her mother used to be. This overshadowed her envy with guilt, settling into acceptance. Soon her childhood came to a close quickly early in her years, feeling the need to readjust herself to be obedient for the sake of her family.

‘Prodigy,’ was a word that grew stale to Amare as she went through middle school. The praise she received through academics and other minimal talents fell onto deaf ears quickly after hearing the same words blend in altogether. There was a lack of passion in most subjects she delved into. The only thing that motivated her was to savor the warm attitude of a mother that grew cold. Wanting to alleviate the strict tone in her voice whenever Amare’s hardwork gave subpar rewards. It didn’t help that the father wasn’t around much to mediate arguments either- work started to become more of a burden to their bond. The girl could only push herself further as a means to not complicate her relationship with her family. Knowing fully well they were all that she had. Long lasting relationships seemed like a myth to her, as she would end up moving from city to city often. It was easy for her to get accustomed with the distance she had with others. Confident that she never needed to find comfort in the few friends that she was with at the time. Everything seemed to be going well until the number of medical check ups started to dwindle. Both her and her mother overlooked the condition of her heart and was met with more complications than before. It didn’t take long for her Aunt and Grandmother to step in and ask for Amare to stay with them through the duration of highschool in Hokkaido in hopes to seek better medical supervision. And upon hearing that, Amare felt as though it was an opportunity to escape her dull life.

As she transfers into Azarashi High through her academic reputation, she sought to start anew. Hoping that she could spend a more fulfilling youth before adulthood.

Owning an elegant presence and soft spoken voice makes her seem like a polite lady-like girl. However, the more you interact with her, she’ll gradually reveal her more outgoing and childish behavior. Amare's company seems to come and go much like ocean waves by the shore, pulling people in and letting them go with ease. She has trouble showing sentimentality, and believes everything is fleeting. Is quick to move on from people and situations. Wouldn't normally hold grudges nor hold any deep feelings in relationships (platonic/romantic). It is hard to tell what is on her mind due to her boisterous behaivior.

She prefers to go with the flow and chase after things that’ll grant her fun, even if it means dropping prior interests...which can be seen as selfish- her actions look like she takes advantage of others but actually enjoys sharing experiences and ideas. In efforts to not be so heavily taken care of, she tries her best to be independent.

Can come off as inconsiderate and rather scatter-brained when it comes to social decency, but is actually sensitive and careful to fix her mistakes when needed. She is cautious of where she leaves her heart open to others and can be quite thoughtful if given the chance. If something is truly important to her, it'll show through effort.
