The survey doesn't address what people want. It's too limiting. What does "foster shared responsibilty" even mean?
19
focus on local candidates. especially non- partisan position (SWCD, School Board, Fire District, etc.)

Everyone else has their own silo, to justify their own existence. May I suggest you focus on a regional plan that is based on jobs for the working class which unifies Liberals & Moderates, and emphasizes an economic model which empowers local communities, i.e. Spain’s Mondragon Cooperative & Public Banking. Sorry, it’s too much to explain in such a limited space. However, I’d be happy to explain more if you reply. Note that ai have decades of experience in Democratic politics, as well as knowing the weaknesses within both the Party & local/state/ federal government. You have a big hill to climb. Good luck!

In my opinion, we need candidates to run for office. In Eugene, we have a primary coming up in May. Because of the way Primaries work, if any candidate gets 50% of that "off election" vote, they win--and there will be no election in November. That means, no articulation of Green Party Platform when it counts. Getting the "Green Message" out during campaigns--during the real, general election--is key to growth. The primary is designed to prevent that. Please, put candidates forward in Eugene at the local level. This is where the boots meet the ground.

The Constitution, Bylaws, and Platform are our organizations and strategic documents and outline the role of the SCC and the Party. The items above appear to be made up out of thin air. It doesn't include supporting the Four Pillars, the Ten Key Values, the Statement of Principles, or ensuring candidates run on our Platform. We also don't believe in central planning, just grassroots democracy (a Pillar). One of our Ten Key Values is also decentralization. We shouldn't have a planning committee making decisions for all of us, but inatead should always have plenary votes.
