Baseball Grounds of JacksonvilleThe Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville, which opened in 2003, is one of the premier minor league ballparks in North America.

The ballpark was the first completed project of the Better Jacksonville Plan. Featuring an old-fashioned design, brick facade, and a grass seating berm, the Baseball Grounds reminds fans of the days of yesteryear and preserves all of the wonderful tradition baseball has to offer. The vivid sightlines capture the action up-close while providing fans with comfortable seating and easy access to concessions and restrooms.

The Baseball Grounds sits on a little more than 9 acres and includes a 112,000-square-foot field, 12 luxury skyboxes, four skydecks, a large scoreboard and videoboard, a playground, and the “knuckle” – a unique nine-foot high mound for seating at the left field corner.

In addition to six concession stands, six portable kiosk locations, three dressing rooms, a media room, weight room and kitchen, the ballpark also feature a place for players to practice indoors.

Prime F. Osborn, III Convention CenterWELCOME... to Jacksonville's Prime F. Osborn, III Convention Center! Thank you for considering us for your event; and we hope you'll find this Guide helpful whether you're a "veteran" or planning your furst event here. The Center is operated for the City of Jacksonville by SMG, the nation's foremost private manager of public assembly facilities.

A LITTLE HISTORY... Where trains once ran on time, events now run like clockwork; and conventions, glittering shows and Grand Galas have replaced the bustle of a great railroad terminal. Opening in 1919, the Jacksonville Union Terminal was the rail Gateway to Florida; and during six decades of service was among the busiest in the country, with up to ten million passengers in a single year! Now, its beauty restored, its history preserved in the National Register of Historic Places, and centerpiece of a modern convention facility, "The Prime" is once again the pride of North Florida.

SAVOR…Jacksonville is the exclusive caterer and food service provider for the Prime F. Osborn III Convention Center. SAVOR... is proud to provide carefully prepared food in the most exclusive and unique environments in the North Florida area. Banquets as large as 3,000 guests, or as intimate as 10 friends, are easily accommodated. If you have a need for meeting space with fabulous food and beverage options, SAVOR…Jacksonville has the experience and the tools to make it happen. SAVOR… Jacksonville stands by its commitment to culinary excellence for every occasion.

Burrito Gallery (Downtown and Brooklyn)Burrito Gallery is JaxMex. It all started with a crazy idea to serve the best burritos, tacos, and ‘dillas we could make, using the finest ingredients we could get our hands on; pour the kinds of beers we like to drink; mix up the tastiest margaritas on this side of Mexico; and provide a space for local artists to do their thing. So that’s what we did. Founded in early 2005, the original Burrito Gallery opened on East Adams Street in the heart of Downtown Jacksonville.

Years before Downtown Jacksonville was the thriving metropolis it is today, our partners found one of the last small buildings for sale in the Northbank Core. Originally a plumbing supply company to the skyscraper boom of 1901-1920, our little building was then converted into a laundry, a jewelry store, a realty office, and even a secret dance club.

100 years or so later we acquired this special building and began working on those unique flavors you have come to count on in our historic Downtown setting. As serial cultural entrepreneurs, the idea of great food paired with ice-cold beer, tasty drinks and local art was irresistible.

And more than a decade later, we’re doing the same thing from the Beaches to Brooklyn. Thank you for being a part of our continuing history.
