4 | Classroom Teardown | 1. All classrooms should have their trash emptied at the end of the school day, Trash needs to be taken out and put in the big dumpster outside. 2. Wipe whiteboards in all classrooms clean and tidy - cleaning solution and microfibre cloths are available at the front desk 2. Air purifiers must be collected from all classrooms (except room 16) and put in the sunday school office. 3. Make sure the conference room is properly back in the regular shape for conferences. The chairs/tables are properly organized. 4. Fold-up chairs in the classrooms 22 & 23 which are used for babysitting during weekdays. 5. 5 | Full day Volunteer | 1. Each Full day volunteer is expected to be present at Sunday School from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm. 2. Help may be needed in multiple areas during different Sundays and different times during each Sunday. 3. Each Full day volunteer may be assigned different duties depending on where help is needed. 4. Before the school starts and after the school ends, the Full day volunteers will be expected to monitor the students in the prayer area. (2 Volunteers needed for this task) 5. Full day volunteers are required to come at 9:30 AM to help with classroom setup and morning traffic. 6. If there is no signup for Kitchen help that day, Full day volunteers should also help in setting up the kitchen and buy food. Please see Kitchen help volunteering work for more details. 7. Full day volunteers will be required to help during Traffic, Classroom Setup, Yard, Security and Classroom Teardown or other miscellaneous tasks. 6 | Kitchen help | 1. Help with making Tea. 2. Setting up the snack table in the Kitchen. 3. Make sure Kitchen food is only served to Teachers, Volunteers and Staff 4. 7 | Security Shift | 1. Security Volunteers that are at Prayer entrance need to ensure students DO NOT enter or exit from the Prayer entrance during Sunday School hours (10:40AM-1:05PM) including breaks/recess/lunch. Direct the students to the School entrance. 2. For early pickup, direct the parents to enter the premise from sunday school entrance. (Note: Parents picking up early should be picking up students from the Sunday School entrance after signing out students.) 3. Make sure NO students are in class or inside corridors during Recess and/or assembly 4. Security Volunteers that are not going to be at any entrance should help doing following: - Patrolling building and grounds/parking areas. - Recognizing situations and responding as needed to problems of student safety. - Will also be required to monitor kids in the prayer area at the time of Assembly/Duhr Salah to maintain discipline. 5. Safety of kids and discipline at Sunday School is very important. 9 | Traffic_AM | 1. Make sure all traffic signs are placed correctly. Please follow the picture to understand the flow of traffic. The yellow lines/arrows depict the flow of traffic. 2. Place Traffic Exit / Entry Signs according to the new traffic flow. Please look at the picture below for more details. (Pleasanton Police does not allow private signs on Las Positas Road; therefore, all signs are to be placed inside the Parking lots). 3. Ensure NO-Drive Thru Drop offs of children for Levels Pre-K to 3. Parents need to park their cars in the green-zone marked in the image below. 4. Do Not allow Double Parking. 5. Plan and execute traffic plan route field trips for parents with the group 6. Safety of kids and discipline at Sunday School is very important. 11 | Yard duty | 1. Supervise children during the snack time and during playground activities. Please make sure MCCSS is a nut free school hence if you observe any kids eating nuts please bring it to admins attention immediately. 2. Help with serving water to kids during recess. 3. Children should NOT wander onto public roads or the parking lot area at any time. 4. Children must remain under MCC adult surveillance at all time 5. Address any misconduct, unruly behavior and refer student discipline issues to teachers/Admin. 6. Recognize potential problems and take appropriate actions to prevent incidents. 7. Refer students for first aid as necessary. 8. On non rainy days children are to play outdoors ONLY. 9. Restroom supervisor will remain indoors during the Yard duty hours and ensure discipline is maintained. 10. Students causing property damage have to be reported. 11. At 12.20 pm, ensure there are no MCCSS children in the grounds surrounding MCC facility. All children should be indoors and accounted for. 12. Report any suspicious activity/people to teachers/Admin. 13. Safety of kids and discipline at Sunday School is very important. Please do not engage in casual talks or use this time to browse on your phones or take care of personal activities. 14. Please help setup Basketball posts in the lunch area.
