ACT Student Champion AwardThe ACT Student Champion Award recognizes one student in each state who is tenacious and persistent, no mater the challenge, and is prepared for life after high school with a goal in mind and plan in place. ACT Student Champions receive a $500 non-renewable scholarship, certificate, plaque, and state-level recognition. Criteria: A student who has overcome challenges and can articulate education and career actions; Students must have a composite ACT score of a 22 on a single test date or a 3.0 or greater on a 4.0 scale; preference will be given to underrepresented and/or first-generation college students. Adams State University Theatre ScholarshipAdams State is offering Freshmen Theatre Scholarships worth $1,500 for the first year and $1,000 renewable annually for three additional years. If you are a graduating senior, please fill out and submit the Scholarship application form available at theatre.adams.edu. Alisa's Angels Foundation ScholarshipScholarships are awarded to graduating high school seniors (from Arizona and El Paso County/Colorado Springs) who are involved in service to others. Alisa's Angels was founded in memory of Alisa, who was committed to helping others because, "that is what we were put on earth to do". Alisa's Angels will award $5,000 scholarships to up to 8 graduating seniors who are committed to service to others. $2,500 will be available the first year of school. The remainder will be available in following years if student is in good standing. The scholarship funds can only be used for books, and tuition, and will be issued directly to the school. Iota Beta Omega Chapter ScholarshipAlpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., the first African American sorority, has an established tradition of rewarding students who have the intellect and desire to pursue a higher education. Alpha Phi Alpha FraternityThe Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity awards two scholarships: one to a selected senior after they have enrolled in the college of their choice and one for Colorado Technical University only. They direct their attention towards African American male students; however, African American female students may also apply. Colorado Garden Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Proceeds from our annual Colorado Garden & Home Show are given away in the form of scholarships and grants in Colorado. In the past 56 years they have given away over $6.5 million. The Four Year Full Ride Scholarship is for an incoming freshman in the school of agriculture at a state funded Colorado college or university in the following fields of study: Agriculture Business, Agriculture Education, Horticulture, Floriculture, Landscape Architecture, Botany, Plant Biology, Plant Pathology/Science, Nursery & Landscape Management, Environmental Horticulture, Agronomy. Colorado Moose Association - Moose Youth Awareness ScholarshipThis program offers $30,000 in scholarships to college bound students. To qualify for scholarships students must attend the Colorado Moose YA Congress. It is planned for November 5, beginning at 9am in the Longmont Moose Lodge located at 2200 Pratt St., Longmont, CO, 80501. Scholarships are uniquely awarded by peer selection. Daniels Fund ScholarshipMotivated college-bound high school seniors in Colorado, New Mexico, Utah and Wyoming are encouraged to visit the Daniels Fund website (DanielsFund.org/scholarships) to apply online for the Daniels Scholarship Program. Eligibility requirement: financial need, resident of Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, or Wyoming, earn a minimum 3.0 high school GPA, ACT scores of at least 18 in each category (writing score not required) or earn a minimum SAT Math score of 490 and a minimum Evidence-Based Reading & Writing score of 490. All test scores must come from a single test. Super scoring is not accepted. For Students who were unable to take the SAT or ACT due to COVID-19 cancellations they are eligible to apply with a minimum GPA of 3.3 in high school, and do not need to provide standardized test scores.
