Animapshttp://www.animaps.com1.a,b; 2.a,b,c 3.aAfter cross-referencing the standards with the tools, I realized that the tools fit almost every standard for teachers and for students depending on how they are used. The three main ISTE Standards for teachers are 1) Facilitate and inspire student learning and creativity 2) Design and develop digital age learning experiences and assessments and 3) Model digital age work and learning taken from the ISTE.org. In my opinion, every tool that I researched does, in some way, meet all three of these goals to some extent. The four student ISTE standards are 1) Creativity and innovation, 2) Communication and collaboration, 3) Research and information fluency, and 4) Critical thinking, problem solving and decision making. Again, every tool meets these goals to some varying degree. Animaps and Canva would allow students to be creative and use technology to process information. Search engines would increase research and information fluency. Google Drive and other website tools allows for communicaiton and collaboration along with research, critical thinking, problem solving and decision-making. Using a variety of these tools in the classroom would most definitely meet every one of the standards listed for teachers and students and greatly enhance the learning that would take place in the classroom. These tools would build strong technology students that would have the ability to continue learning and be prepared for the world today.
