INTRODUCTIONHOW TO USE THE SPREADSHEET
2
Hey guys, my name is Kai and thank you for stopping by and checking out my set 9 prep spreadsheet! Just for some context, I peaked 605LP in set 8.5, and will be gunning for Challenger in set 9, as this will be the the first set I go super sweaty try-hard with preperation/homework from beginning to end.

The spreadsheet is my own personal way of preparing for set 9, and I wanted to make sure you guys also had access to it! This way, not only do you guys have a better foot forward going into set 9, but maybe you'll have a differing opinion from my own prep that you'd like to share; to help increase the quality of the spreadsheet.

By no means does this spreadsheet cover every single comp in the game, but I did what I could to cover most things. I personally do not have a study group, so all this prep work was done just for myself. I'm not entirely sure if I will keep this spreadsheet updated; but it's very likely I will not once set 9 drops onto the live servers. Unfortunately, the workload is too large for just myself :(

All this prep was done by just myself, so I'd really appreciate a follow on Twitch, or a like/subscribe on the YouTube. Not necessary, but it'd be pretty dope and did I mention you look extra handsome today my brother? My YouTube, Twitch, and any other socials can all be found below.

Happy climbing guys! Set 9 is finna be lit :)
The spreadsheet's designed to be as UX-friendly as possible (but I suck at excel... so I tried my best). You can freely navigate between the different sheets at the bottom!

The
Region Takeaways page has a description of each region (taken from tactics.tools), with a quick blurb about what to expect in the region and what gameplans may be available to you.

The
Reroll Comp List page consists of most reroll comps I could test/theorize on the PBE server. It features both the general board you should be rolling for on x level for y comp, but also a "transition to cap" board which is what your board will generally look like after you hit your 3*. "Transition to cap" boards should not be your final boards, as they are the boards you will be playing in order to pivot into an even stronger board later on, with legendaries, other 2* 4 costs, etc. The positioning for each board may not be perfect though so keep that in mind.

The
Standard Comp List contains boards that you would play if you weren't rerolling; both for level 7 and level 8. The difference was taken into account due to the fact that there will be games where you low roll and are forced to roll for your board at level 7. This way, you can generally flex around whatever 4 cost carry you hit, and play around that. This sheet also includes a few Double Trouble Boards, and an example Built Different board as well.

The
Interactions sheet includes any notable unit interactions, as well as a list of every CC/Utility that a unit can provide for your board. Some units have very interesting interactions with certain items/units/effects and those are listed as well.

Finally, the
Augments page details anything particularly interesting I've noticed about any specific augments. This means that the list does not include every single augment in the game.
