$5 a day $10.00 for all pools all weekend- we will provide a wristband valid at all pools

ROSTERS/SCORESHEETS

Each coach MUST turn in a score sheet to the table 30 min.. Prior to each game

CAP COLOR

First team listed wears white caps and starts the game sitting on the bench to the left of the Official Table. Teams shall switch ends at half time.

WARM UP

A team shall receive a minimum of five (5) minutes in front of goals immediately prior to the start of their game. If goals are provided in warm up area, additional time will not be given.

Time Outs

Two 1:00 minute time outs per game.

Mercy Rule

If both teams agree a mercy rule can be used during a game.

RED CARDS

A participant who receives a red card shall not participate in the team's next game in that division, and until the suspension is served, shall not participate with any team in any division and may be subject to additional punishment by action of the head referee.

BRUTALITY/VIOLENCE

A participant penalized for a violation of Rule 21.11 of USA Water Polo Rules (brutality/violence) shall not participate in the team's next game in that division, and until the suspension is served, shall not participate with any team in any division, and may be subject to additional punishment by action of the Championship Finals Management Committee.

BREAKING TIES

All games shall be played to a decision ... with a definite winner. Should the scores be level at full time in any game, there shall be a shootout to determine the result.

SHOOT-OUT PROCEDURE

There will be an immediate coin toss to determine the shooting order.

All shots will be taken at same goal as determined by the referees.

Each team places its 5 players on scorekeeper desk side of pool.

Declaration of shooting order required.

Shots are taken alternately.

The desk must record the shooting order on the score sheet for use if it goes to second round.

After the first round it is sudden death.

The bench at end opposite shooting end can move to half tank.

Shoot out - team that wins in a shoot out is given one extra goal (+1) for winning the shoot out for purposes of advancement. (e.g. if game is tied at 5-5, team winning the shoot out will have a score of 6-5 for advancement purposes)

ADVANCEMENT

All games require a winner and loser; NO TIED GAMES! Should the game score be tied at the end of regulation time, the tie shall be broken by shoot out.

PROTESTS

A protest must be lodged at the time of the incident, at the next goal, or time out or start of the next period, whichever comes first.

If an incident occurs in the fourth period, the coach shall follow the same procedures or has until 5 minutes following the conclusion of the game, whichever comes first.

If a coach fails to notify the referees by this procedure, the opportunity to protest is lost.

The protest must include the rule that was mis- applied, any equipment malfunctions, recording errors or timing errors. Judgement calls are not subject to protest.

immediately pay a $100 cash Protest Fee to the Site Director, who holds it in behalf of USAWP

describe the incident and nature of the protest in writing, using the Protest Form.

The lead referee at the game site, or in his/her absence, the NJO head referee(s).

The Lead Referee shall notify the opposing team’s coach of the protest.
