Feb 6th Patch 41630. PLEASE READ BELOW, MECHANICS HAVE CHANGED

The headshot damage multipliers have been fixed with this update, meaning that it is now possible for players and AI to survive headshot hits. This brings with it a few quirks. The default health for suspects is 320 and they incapacitate at 50% health lost. As an example, 9mm AP deals 70 base damage and has a headshot multiplier of 3x. This means that with a full-damage headshot we deal 210 damage, not enough to kill a standard suspect.
In order to kill a suspect you must drain their ENTIRE health pool, this shot would only incapacitate now.

SUSPECTS WITH GUNS OVER 70 DAMAGE ARE BUGGED, durability damage on Ceramic is only 43-60% and will also non-pen Kevlar body armor

I would like to start off by thanking LAUGHING SOLDIER for creating his original damage sheet and making it available to the community. I've included the link to it here and have used it as reference to improve my own formatting, something I'm very inexperienced with. Some of the pages have been directly taken from his document and updated/reformatted to be relevant on the patch that I tested with.

This document is only focused on vanilla content and is always subject to change. Until the devs release raw data, all we can do is test and infer.

2/12/2024 I noted it up top, but suspect damage output is bugged. Rifles + LMGs deal only half durability damage to player Ceramic armor

2/8/2024 The paperdoll properly reflect Ceramic armor (kinda) if ALL plates are broken, the model will change from white to red

2/6/2024 Suspects deal reduced damage through walls. Headshot multipliers have been fixed, it is now possible to be shot without a helmet and live in certain situations.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

2/4/2024 Updated map info, there is exactly 1 suspect in the whole game immune to gas, lmao

2/3/2024 Corrected information about the Armorer trait and it's ACTUAL effects on the player/SWAT AI
(see Armor page or Steel/Ceramic/Kevlar)
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

1/29/2024 bleeding and health regaining was changed with game version 40986. See "Steel,Ceramic, or Kevlar?"

IF YOU ARE JUST LOOKING FOR DAMAGE VALUES START HERE:

--->
Rifle/Pistol-SMG/Shotgun Damage Pages: These three tabs are for each category of lethal weapon, Pistol/SMG are combined due to major overlap between the two.

Everything Else:

Basic Mechanics:
Contains everything about mechanics such as bleeding, ricochets, the difference between ammo types, armor, and player health.

Map Information: Info about every map and mode in the game. Enemy armor/weapons, bonus modifiers, general difficulty rating.

Armor, Vests, Helmets: Explains the differences between light/heavy armor and the general effectiveness of each armor plate type, as well as the different ballistic performance of helmets and munitions

Steel, Ceramic, Kevlar?: Nitty gritty explanation of health + armor mechanics.

Ammo Quick Ref: At-a-glance information about penetration/general effectiveness of a caliber without getting too detailed.

Weapons/Mods: Attachments and General usability/reliability for all lethal firearms, NOT damage numbers. If you can't seem to find a weapon you like, come here, otherwise this information really isn't needed to enjoy/play the game.

Range/Stagger: Information about damage falloff and the chances for triggering "stagger" as opposed to the default damage flinch.

Damage Pages: In-depth information about the damage dealt from calibers against specific armor types

Shots to X (DNU): depricated page from before we knew values
FF Armor/Helmet Testing (DNU): depricated page from before we knew how the system worked

FAQ:

Q: I found something that differs from your observations
A: Contact information on the right of this page

Q: Are you going to cover mods? (Including unlockers for hidden/unfinished vanilla stuff)
A: No, there is too much and I dislike current mod implementation via mod.io and 3rd party sites.

If you learned something, or just appreciate the effort, please consider leaving a comment/review on the steam guide.

Hopefully Void will include more of this information in the form of a tutorial/handbook at some point. But it seems at least for now we're stuck with guides like this, so spread them around to reduce the confusion/misinformation that always pops up, and to help teach new players the mechanics without having to explain it all yourself.
