READ ME

Welcome to the big spreadsheet of RoN bullshit.

THIS DOCUMENT IS NOT RECOMMENDED FOR NEW PLAYERS

The spreadsheet is heavy with spoilers for gameplay and in-depth mechanical/statistical info for those who seek it.

RoN is designed to have vague game mechanics and reading further can expose these mechanics to you pre-emptively.

I personally advise that you play through the RoN campaign at least once, as a lot of the fun comes from learning and experiencing the game for yourself and forming original thoughts about it.

This spreadsheet also includes HEAVY bias from my own experience, which will be included in flavor text and side tips.

Any opinions (especially around ~meta~) are mine and mine alone, please try things for yourself, even after reading through.

You can leave comments on any page/cell in this document.
If you have questions, want to change my mind, or just want to say something... please feel free to :)

Below this text block is one last spoiler warning and the rest of the introduction page, including table of contents.

Please be patient with the upcoming "Los Suenos Stories" / console release and the introduction of the difficulty system.

There will probably be a LOT changed and the need for specifications about each difficulty.

It will be updated, but give me some time pls.

I would like to thanking LAUGHING SOLDIER for creating his original damage sheet and making it available to the community. I've included the link to it here and have used it as reference to improve my own formatting, something I'm very inexperienced with. Some of the pages have been directly taken from his document and updated/reformatted to be relevant with current RoN Builds

This document is only focused on vanilla content and is always subject to change.

IF YOU ARE JUST LOOKING FOR DAMAGE VALUES START HERE:

--->
Rifle/SMG-Pistol/Shotgun Damage Pages: These three tabs are for each category of lethal weapon, Pistol/SMG are combined due to major overlap between the two.

Everything Else:

Basic Mechanics:
Contains everything about mechanics such as bleeding, ricochets, the difference between ammo types, armor, and player health.

Map Information: Info about every map and mode in the game. Enemy armor/weapons, bonus modifiers, general difficulty rating.

Armor, Vests, Helmets: Explains the differences between light/heavy armor and the general effectiveness of each armor plate type, as well as the different ballistic performance of helmets and munitions

Steel, Ceramic, Kevlar?: Nitty gritty explanation of health + armor mechanics.

Ammo Quick Ref: At-a-glance information about penetration/general effectiveness of a caliber without getting too detailed.

Weapons/Mods: Attachments and General usability/reliability for all lethal firearms, NOT damage numbers. If you can't seem to find a weapon you like, come here, otherwise this information really isn't needed to enjoy/play the game.

Range/Stagger: Information about damage falloff and the chances for triggering "stagger" as opposed to the default damage flinch.

Damage Pages: In-depth information about the damage dealt from calibers against specific armor types

Morale, Stress, & Nonlethals: Information about nonlethal tools and the vague "morale/stress" dynamics of suspects. This is the most wishy-washy-feely thing on this document. To this day, the AI still kinda does whatever it wants whenever it wants.

FAQ:

Q: I found something that differs from your observations
A: Contact information on the right of this page

Q: Are you going to cover mods? (Including unlockers for hidden/unfinished vanilla stuff)
A: No, there is too much and I dislike current mod implementation via mod.io and 3rd party sites.

If you learned something, or just appreciate the effort, please consider leaving a comment/review on the steam guide.

Hopefully Void will include more of this information in the form of a tutorial/handbook at some point. But it seems at least for now we're stuck with guides like this, so spread them around to reduce the confusion/misinformation that always pops up, and to help teach new players the mechanics without having to explain it all yourself.
