1	CleanMetrics CarbonScope - Corporate Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Inventory Data Template
2		This template requires Excel macros - the Google Sheet version is not functional and is provided as a static example only.
3		How to fill out this template
4		What data to fill out	Provide data for one full year of operation (either 2019 or 2020) for a company or organization. If the company has multiple locations, subsidiaries, divisions or outsourced operations, fill out a separate data template spreadsheet for each entity.
5		Info tab	Specify the name of the entity and the industry sector. Also specify the name of the parent organization.
6		Hub tab	Enter a US zipcode or country for the main corporate location and energy consumed at that location.
7		Inflow - dollar value tab (for specifying purchased materials, goods or services by dollar value)	Enter dollar value spent to purchase materials, goods or services in each industry or economic sector. Where possible, specify the Distribution Channel (Direct, Wholesale, Online or Retail) for each line item.
8		Inflow - Food - weight or Inflow - Materials - weight tab (for specifying purchased materials by weight)	Select purchased food ingredients or materials using the dropdowns and enter the quantity used to produce one product unit. Also specify transport distances from sourcing location to manufacturing hub. Use the Add buttons to insert additional ingredients/materials of the same type. (Start by specifying inflows by dollar values to get a quick baseline for annual emissions, and then transition gradually to inflows by weight to improve accuracy and to work on emission reductions.)
9		Outflow tab	Enter dollars spent on outgoing freight transport services provided by other parties.
10		Waste tab	Enter dollars spent on waste disposal services.
11		Storage tab	Enter dollars spent on warehousing and retail services.
12		Use Phase tab	Enter a typical US zipcode or country for the product use location and energy consumed at that location by consumers while using the company's products.
