Teacher/Aid Gift Coordinator (DECEMBER and MAY): Twice a year we collect monetary (voluntary) donations for our teacher & aide(s) towards group gifts for the holidays (December) and End of the Year (May.) You will send out notices (via your classroom coordinator) of collection dates/deadlines, collect the funds and purchase gift(s)/gift cards for your teacher & aide(s) on behalf of the class.

SRC Needs Drive Coordinator: RMAE collects food items for the SRC (Sr. recource center.) Resposible for 1) Communicate/remind (via your class coordinator) your class parents about the assigned items for our class 2) Collect items from classroom boxes and hold on to them until distribution day 3) Help sort items into delivery boxes 4) Help wrap the delivery boxes.

Community Service Day Coordinators (April): 2 volunteers to coordinate and plan, with the Teacher, PTO Community Service Day Chair and Classroom Coordinator, a day of giving back and learning for the class. Role includes selecting a project, contacting non-profit agencies, sending out sign-up sheets for supplies and volunteers. The planning process starts in November with a brief meeting, intensifies in February ending in a full day spent with the students, their teacher and parent volunteers on the day (usually April/May.) Be a key part of this amazing day and experience the joy of coming together and making a difference.

Young Ameritowne (Date TBA): Assist the teachers in organizing this event. During class the students will be taught concepts such as supply and demand, job skills and work habits, banking procedures, democratic processes, civic consciousness, and career awareness.
