I am surprised though also a bit not? Because I know how many people are saturated with people posting Found Fanart posts. -NatsukiGoldenHeartTbh I was expecting this to be lower haha but okay I understand how much the content of r/DDLC is hashed. -NatsukiGoldenHeart

9AnswerFrequencyPercentageWhen presented with the idea of abstract restrictions on found fanart posting people tend to answer no; this doesn't really carry over into support for specific policy proposals, however.
- Stuart
AnswerFrequencyPercentageThis is something a couple of us on the mod team have been wanting to do for a while but were concerned about how the sub would react. The apparent approval the sub has for the idea is suprising (and makes me somewhat concerned that people didn't fully understand the question), but good to see. In light of these results, I've started a vote among the mod team to implement this. If it passes and people start rioting I guess we'll know that they misunderstood the question? If it's successful though, this should lead to the artists of all the wonderful fanart posted to this sub getting more attention. - StuartResponsesFrequencyPercentageThis is surprising to see, I expect the subreddit to like, hate shitposts specially with the complaints lately. But then again, almost everybody likes to do it anyway. -NatsukiGoldenHeart

AgeFrequency5th Percentile14TimezoneFrequencyUnsurprisingly, most of the sub's userbase is based in the United States, with more spikes in the European timezones and smaller ones in East Asian and Australian timezones. - Stuart95th Percentile1095th Percentile795th Percentile9

28UTC-92Mostly on a desktop/laptop computer (using the reddit redesign)243.25%Note that these numbers are slightly off as the "I visit it about as often" option wasn't added until the first 30 or so responses were in. About 40% of the userbase reports visiting DDLC about as often now as they did three months ago, while 30% say they visit it less often and 16% report visiting it more often. Encouragingly, 15% of the current userbase of /r/DDLC joined within the last 3 months; not bad for a sub for a 4 hour game that's nearly one year old! - StuartOver half of the userbase usually gets their content from the front page of /r/DDLC - Higher than I was expecting honestly, as I (and most of the people I talk to) get our content from the new tab (though I have been getting content from the front page more often nowadays). Only about 18% of people who took the survey most commonly get their content from the reddit.com front page - though there's likely many more who get it that way who don't visit the sub proper other than posts appearing on their front page and thus didn't see the survey. - Stuart

50Mean (lim.)18.7UTC-775Unsurprisingly, a clear plurality of users (42%) mostly browse using the old reddit website on their PC, while a quarter of the userbase use mobile apps primarily and another fifth use a combination of both. Less than a fifth of the userbase uses the full desktop website on mobile, which is superior to mobile apps in my opinion. Barely more than 3% of the userbase uses the reddit redesign on desktop - this is laughably low. Reddit, if you're reading this, make the redesign not shit please. - Stuart
