However, I have seen increasing data gaps over time. I have tried "scan G5 constantly" and "constantly reset bluetooth", but haven't seen any benefit yet. Aggressive service restarts might help, but am unsure. Overall, I'm not impressed with this phone.

Today's Cap % is 77%, but yesterday's was 92% predominately running on the smartwatch. Do not use the receiver. I will try the LCS shown above to see if I can improve my Cap % on my Note 4.

I will usually get a 'signal missed' from software problems every 3 days or so (no readings even when G5 appears in list of paired devices). Usually forget device, check and uncheck all settings, and restart several times to resolve. The Garmin Connect app was the major barrier to success for me with xDrip. Sucks to not be able to use it but once I uninstalled it everything was smooth-ish sailing.

Tried a number of different variations in settings and could get the G5 to show up in the system status page as connected, but never got readings to where I could enter calibrations. Believe this to be related to the B29 update, as my xBridge2/G4 started seeing massive signal loss recently (which prompted my switching to a G5). I will update this and/or add a second entry once I have time to downgrade to the B20/B27 update (or ZTE releases Nougat and/or CyanogenMod becomes stable).

UPDATE 2017-01-30 - LineageOS 14.1 beta was released recently and resolves all xDrip/G5 related issues for the phone. I've had it running for >24 hours with less than 3% signal loss and very little battery impact.
