Hi!

If you're here, you probably came from one of my Ao3 fics that adds significantly to this convoluted mess of a timeline, and trying to thread every snippet together in chapter notes or whatever causes me agony, so I'm here to set the record straight by (hopefully) putting everything in one convenient place. So here's the run-down of how to navigate this godforsaken spreadsheet:

The sheets at the bottom separate each fic by where they belong (or don't belong) in the game's canon. The "MSQ" sheet lists all the fics that are integral to Cagalli's overarching story, with a good number of them focusing on her love life. This sheet will include fics that I think need to be read to understand the state of Cagalli's story at any given moment, as well as any fics that are set during the events of a patch or expansion. Major "arcs" that fall between game MSQ episodes and consist of fics that are ideally read together are blocked together and highlighted. "Sidequests" is for ongoing side stories that are spread out over several installments, such as the Su/Hythlodaeus romance arc. Most of these side stories don't focus heavily on Cagalli as a main character. "Ficlets" is for one-shots set throughout the timeline that aren't necessary to the MSQ timeline, but usually have some prerequisite within that sheet that should be read to understand said ficlet.
NOTE: A fic listed with two patch numbers under the "Time Frame" column (ex: 6.1-6.2) means it is set during the INTERMISSION between those two patches.

Finally, "Party List" is a compilation of generic information on all the main characters involved in the Invoke timeline, including name changes via reincarnations and Convocation titles, because we all know how messy that gets.

Hopefully this clears up the timeline slightly better than my horrible first attempt via chapter notes. Just remember that for challenge megafics, like FFxivWrite, only entries that link to this sheet in the chapter notes are considered "canon" to this WoLverse. This should hopefully deal with any lore that I've since retconned or turned into an AU.
