PURPOSE: To confirm that the horse demonstrates correct basics, and having achieved the thrust required in First Level, now accepts more weight on the hindquarters (collection); moves with an uphill tendency, especially in the medium gaits; and is reliably on the bit. A greater degree of straightness, bending, suppleness, thoroughness, balance and self-carriage is required than at First Level.RIDER #5559

neat team.. needs rounder connection and shorter reins in the canter tour. this horse can have a talent for shoulder in.. just need to smooth out your adis a bit to get 7's!

I know you did not ask for additional comments but I really wanted to say:::: GOOD JOB!! such an improvement form last month! I really like you two as a team! I see that you got your hands together (keep doing it and keep them close..) and legs back... good job! You two must be so much fun to coach..... !!!!!! this is a really neat horse and I feel like you can really do a lot more. Get your reins up quickly (sooner) after the walk and really work hard to get this horse on the bit in the canter. I feel like your shoulder in could be a strong point.. you just need to get just the right "feel" for it. best wishes! Keep going!
