This spreadsheet is an attempt to gather data on the leadership initaitives that exist in the West of England (or that service businesses here).
3
Specifically, we are hoping to collect information about initiatives that work to build leadership capacity and capability in fast growth companies such as NEDs, coaches and training support.
4
Content in this spreadsheet has been collected organically and we welcome contributions from others, the services listed are those that we have been made aware of so far.
5
The content has been gathered from websites and google searches of those organisations that have been personally mentioned to us.
6
7
We (Engine Shed) have previously done some work in this are which you can read more about via the following link:

REALISE – Come to the realisation that NEDs can make a valuable contribution to the business.

20
Themes/stages
REFINE – Establish a way of working that is mutually beneficial and effective.
21
Themes/stages
RETAIN – Build the relationship and involvement to reflect both parties’ interests and expertise.
22
Themes/stages
RELEASE – Feel confident bringing the relationship to an end on positive terms at the right time. Independent directors may lose their independence and their valuable external viewpoint if their involvement is too greatly extended and the board will need to evolve to serve the stage of the business.
