Felder was dismissive during Lobby Day for NYHA.
So we focus on Sen. Kemp Hannon (chair of the Health Committee - he decides if the bill dies in committee or goes to Senate floor for a vote; he only won by 7 points in his district so let him know we are watching this issue with 2018 in mind!)
We are also targeting
Marty Golden (borders Felder's district), but also still targeting Felder.

WHO IS MY SENATOR?
3
* denotes best chances at persuading to join as a co-sponsor - see column E for why.
4
Note: The Independent Democratic Conference is a group of 8 Senators who have split from the Democratic Conference to align with (do not use the term "caucus" bc only the IDC leader caucuses) and vote with the Republicans which props up an artificial Republican majority. More here: www.noidcny.org31 supporters as of 042517!
*We count Bill Perkins' vacant seat as supporter #31 bc we expect the May 23rd Special Election for Bill Perkin's seat to support as well

D-32 (Bronx)Diaz, Ruben, SrCO-SPONSOR as of 033017Strongly anti-abortion and strongly opposes NYHA because it will fund abortion. But, has many on Medicaid in his district, so might be swayed by DC Medicaid cuts. Perhaps Congressmen Espaillat or Serrano or Senators Rivera and Alcantara can gently persuade him?2018

IDC-34 (Bronx)Klein, Jeffrey DCO-SPONSOR as of 032917CO-SPONSORCO-SPONSORHe is obviously important and indicated support some years back, but, as with Cuomo, he will likely wait to see what happens in DC and reserve judgment. Some of the other volunteers have said that Klein might be nervous about how the NYHA might affect state finances.2018
