Between X & C
Enter working trot rising.

Medium walk.
Straightness on centerline and in transition; clear trot and walk rhythm.66energetic entry but rider is looking around and her arms follow her- when rider's arms move, so does the horse! Try to keep your reins a bit shorter with your elbows softly at your sides and hands closer together. Look straight ahead at C (the judge) and feel as if you are riding your horse right into the judge's lap. You can walk anywhere between X and C so just start thinking bout your transition as you see E/B in your peripheral vision and ask for the walk- lots of time!

Track right.

Working trot rising.
Balance and bend in turn. Quality of transition.66starts with good energy and maintains straightness but gets slower the longer you trot.....keep your leg on a post with a really clear up-down feel to help your horse feel the rhythm. keeping your elbows more at your sides helps you stay balanced, too, and will help your horse stay more honest in your hand
12
3ACircle right 20 meters, working trot rising.Roundness and size of circle; clear trot rhythm and bend.66inconsistent tempo- rider sits well and uses seat to push horse forward but also can use lower leg to give a nudge or even a kick and you can also use the crop.
13
4K-X-MChange rein.Clear trot rhythm and straightness on diagonal; bend through corners.77straight and steady, fairly balanced through turns. As rider becomes a little stronger and can keep her balance better, hands will become quieter and horse leaning on the reins won't upset the balance so much
14
5CCircle left 20 meters, working trot rising.Roundness and size of circle; clear trot rhythm and bend.6.56.5supple bend but loses energy crossing the center line. Try to keep posting the same size and tempo to help the horse stay in the same tempo with you
15
6Between C & HMedium walk.Willing and balanced transition; clear walk rhythm.6.56.5clear transition but horse pulls on reins/rider pulls on horse to walk....use more leg and sit up and use your strong core to tell the horse to walk from his butt
16
7H-X-FFree walk.Complete freedom to stretch neck forward and downward; clear walk rhythm, straightness on the diagonal; ground cover.77shows stretch, remember that this is part of the test- keep riding your horse forward keeping your seat and leg aids on and stay ficussed on the letter F so the horse stays on a straight line

A
Medium walk.

Down centerline
Willing and balanced transition; clear walk rhythm, bending in corner and turn.

Straightness on centerline.
66lovely turn at A but then rider gets over concerned with the halt at X and allows the line to wiggle. Continue to ride your horse straight at C and look out of the sides of your eyes to see E/B to know when to halt
18
9XHalt and salute.Straightness; willing, balanced transition at halt.66halts but doesn't stay halted. stay halted for at least 3 seconbds to show the judge that you can!
19
Leave arena in free walk. Exit at A.

Very accurate test with some lovely moments! Capable rider with a very quiet and balanced seat. Once rider is a little stronger and can steer with more subtle aids, scores will improve. Rider needs to remember to ride the horse and not just the test which is super hard! Good luck to this focussed and talented rider.
