Height (cm)175.2HPI60s year old male w/ pmh of DM, HTN, HLD, presents to the ED for worsening shortness of breath. Patient notes that around one week ago he developed fever, chills , sweats and a dry cough. 2 days prior to admission he began feeling short of breath that worsened on exertion. His shortness of breath worsened to the point that walking to the bathroom caused him significant shortness of breath and fatigue. Patien has no known sick contacts and has been staying at home over last 10 days. He is school teacher and at baseline is fully ambulatory with no underlying lung disease. Never smoked in the past.
