38	Methodology:	I went pokemon by pokemon and looked at their available locations in gen 7 games. Combining those locations with the availability of their evolved/preevolved forms, I deduced which method would have the best odds for obtaining a shiny.
39	Notes:	There are many middle and evolved forms of pokemon that are available in the friend safari however the method for obtaining their preevolved forms had better odds. Thus, it is often more efficient to catch 2 of the baby pokes at lower odds than outright go for the middle poke.
40		Unfortunately, many of these pokes' optimal method of obtaining them is dexnaving in caves or pokeradaring. While both are not easy, nor very efficient, the other alternatives were often significantly worse. Unless there was a reasonable alternative (specifically cave hordes), these methods are still best.
41		This chart does assume you have the Shiny Charm in both XY, ORAS, SM/USUM. Without it, the friend safari and MM would be more popular.
42		I excluded many event shinies that have been available in recent past in order for this list to always be applicable for people just starting the project. So yes, Charizard, Metagross, etc could all be obtained as an event, they are not available anymore. The event tag is reserved for shinies that are ONLY available in that way.
43		It should be noted that DexNav's odds do not start at 1/173. They progressively get better with a higher search level. The odds start at full odds of 1/1024 for the first search and will be ~1/300 by only 151 searches. They will reach full ~1/173 odds by 901 searches. I include this as a popular method mostly due to the fact it's so easy.
44		Some method notes: Heatmor and Durant (and a few others) are probably easier to be hunted as hordes rather than radar, Celebi is obtainable in Crystal on 3DSVC at full odds resets (no shiny charm) and then transferred via the pokebank, Zygarde is going to have an event later this year (will update at that time), Jirachi only existed as a shiny twice for Japan only events and hasn't been distributed since
