Anthony Marchetta1968Real Estate Development/City & Regional PlanningMaureen Douglass '72Politics/Fishing/Travel/GolfToo many but Brothers/Live band parties/Boat Ride/ Beach Party/Nick Ciccarello, Bob Wenk / Mike Bonoff all RU class '69ofI was the first in my immediate family to go to college when I entered Rutgers in 1967. Born and raised in New Brunswick it was more cost efficient to be a commuter. Kappa Sigma was my first opportunity to feel like a full member of the campus community. I became the spokesperson for GU and encouraged several other locals to join the Chapter including my brother Lou, Bub Kovacs, Carlo Andreani and Rich Shuey. I was active in the house and served as Social Chairman and GMC . I keep in touch with several of my Kappa Sigma Brothers including, Don Pray, Ed Sponzilli, Jim Winder, John Anderson, Dave Critelli and Urbano Veniero.

I was a Geography/City Planning major and my career was primarily in the arena of Government (20 years) and Real Estate Development (28 years). I later earned a Masters Degree in City and Regional Planning '78, and an MBA '83 both from Rutgers.

Although I am 71 years old now, I am not interested in fully retiring so I am self employed as an Affordable Housing Consultant and Developer. I would be happy to assist in mentoring any brothers interested in Real Estate. I volunteer in several non profit organizations including NJ Sharing Network, (Organ Transplant), New Communities Corp. (Newark social service organization) Bloustein School of Planning, Policy and Public Health,

I married my college girlfriend Maureen McDonnell, Douglass '72 and we raised six children and now have nine grandchildren. They nearby and we see them all often. We spend our summers at our home in LBI and hope to spend more time in winter in Delray Beach Fla.

Besides the best house parties on campus, trash ball in the front yard of the house, senior year Fort Launderdale spring break kidnapping by Jimmy Wong and Hannan IsaacsLoving life and golf in Raleigh, North Carolina. After spending 30+ years working for several large national home builders in Maryland, New Jersey, Atlanta and lastly Raleigh where I started the Del Webb active adult operation in North Carolina, I am slowing down and building homes for myself to keep busy. My three daughters are actively finding their own way in life. Olivia graduated from Wake Forest and is working for a medical advisory firm out of D.C., Ayn graduated from American U. and is heading off to London for a masters degree and Elise is a junior music major at Berklee College of Music in Boston. My Red Bank, Jersey-girl bride Suzanne designs our homes and keeps me in line . We enjoy traveling and expect to do much more when our lives get back to normal. We still maintain our roots to New Jersey with an annual 4th of July week stay at the Jersey shore in the Sea Bright area.

David Kaufman1973Retired attorneyWife: Lois. Children: Matthew (34) and Carolyn (31)SailingI lived in the house my sophomore year. It was a great yearAnyone who remembers meI retired on 12/31/2019. Celebrated by taking a trip to SE Asia. ( Bali is the closest thing to paradise I have seen.). Then spent a week on the beach in Isabela, PR. Loved it. Went back to Miami Beach and shut down for the virus. Things got bad in Miami Beach, so we spent the summer in Revere, MA. When it started to get cold, we went back to the beach in Isabela (where the virus is low) and will stay here for the winter. My two adult children are unmarried. My son lives in our condo in Revere and my daughter is living in my Miami Beach condo.
Enjoying retired life

Brandon Leung2011Internal Advisor ConsultantLosing Brother Dowell during a spontaneous trip to Menlo Park MallBrother Leung cherishes his time as an undergrad at Rutgers, despite the many challenges the chapter faced in his 3.5 years. Serving as Grand Master of Ceremonies, Grand Procurator, and Grand Master, those challenges helped him to realize the importance of Brotherhood and accountability while providing him the necessary skills to exceed in business after graduation. While he enjoyed his time as an undergraduate, he is most thankful for his experience as an alumnus and his involvement with the general fraternity, as he has been afforded the opportunity to meet Brothers from around North America and establish new relationships that will last a lifetime. As an alumnus, he has served Kappa Sigma as an Alumnus Advisor, Assistant District Grand Master, and as a member of the Ritual Commission. He currently serves as the District Grand Master of New Jersey and the Alumni Development Commissioner for Kappa Sigma. He is also one of Jackson’s Men, holding pin 3570 at the Diamond Level.

Professionally, Brother Leung is an Internal Advisor Consultant with New York Life Investment Management, a $500 billon global asset manager, providing investment strategies, insights, and products to some of the top financial advisors around the country.
