- Topic has to be related to one of the subjects discussed in the course (in a broad sense)

- Methodology open, i.e. can be a literature review, an empirical analysis (qualitative or quantitative), a theoretical work.

- When presenting the existing literature on the subject, adopt a a critical point of view.

- Around 10 pages, Times New Roman 12, Single spaced, Margins 2.5, aligned

Guidelines for paper's presentations

- Choose a paper from suggested ones on the website (they appear under each topic's slides)

- Other papers, included in the extended reading list or not, can be presented upon my approval.

- Presentations should last around 20 minutes and will be followed by a general discussion

- Try to explain main idea of the paper, i.e. the question asked, methodological problems faced and solution proposed in an intuitive way.

- Avoid equations as much as possible.

- At the end of the presentation, provide your views about the papers: its contribution, the pro and cons of the methodology, any (positive or negative) critiques
