Rough 2016 Album Spreadsheet
3
Everything you need to know:
4
Albums are split by month, as you can see by the tabs below.
5
Within said month, albums are ordered by score from best to worst
6
The columns of each album are split into Artist; Album title; Why I listened to said album
7
(e.g: Pitchfork Best New Music; Ashley Cooper suggested it; Love the band etc. Click cell for this info);
8
Genre; How many times I listened to said album; the Status of said album (more details below);
9
Rough Notes (i.e: a very rough review written as I was listening, click cell for this info, please forgive spelling errors and rambles);
10
and whether I loved/hated the artwork, title, or some lyrics
11
The colour of each row reflects the Status, which means the following:
12
13
MPRTV = Impreative (album is included on final list)
14
DFNT = Definite (album is good enough to be on final list, but ultimately didn't make it)
15
RSRV = Reserve (I would be happy if the album made the final list,
16
but it would never come to that, ultimately a useless but respectable status)
17
NLA = Never Listen Again (I didn't care for it all that much)
18
19
The Total tab after the month tabs was more for my sake to keep track of how many albums I had listened to and what months meant what.
20
However, it is worth looking at for the clever formulas alone
21
The Never Listened tab are the albums which regretfully fell on my radar, but I never got a chance to experience them.
22
These each come with a score calaculated from the Metacritic and Rate Your Music average
