4	IFRC/SRU	Global Agency Initiatives	Guidance		02/2019	IFRC-SRU have started working on a decision making manual on cash for shelter, and will share the full draft with this group for comments.		The manual will give information to generalists, on the +/-‘s of using certain type of cash disbursement to achieve shelter objectives with considerations for context and phases of the project management cycle. • Guidance will refer to the most frequent types of shelter or NFIs responses. • It will be looking at labour and market assessments, as a guide to feasibility of targeted cash disbursement for shelter outcomes • IFRC-SRU is currently undertaking KI interviews, and wishes to ensure linking to other existing GSC and related agency initiatives		Antonella Vitale antonella.vitale@croix-rouge.lu	Ongoing
5	UNHCR	Agency Initiative	Rental Assistance Guidance		03/15/2019-06/15/2019	UNHCR has drafted rental assistance guidelines going through the main cycles of Planning, Market Assessment, and various approaches: Multipurpose Cash, Conditional Cash for Rent, and Increasing the Building Stock. The document also touches on the various roles and responsibilities for Shelter, Cash, and Protection Officers. 6	Habitat For Humanity	Global Agency Initiatives	Market Assessment Tools		05/2019	HFH have recently secured some funding to work on developing a range of shelter/housing market assessment tools and guidance for emergency settings.This work will mainly be looking to adapt the existing tools to speak better to shelter needs. Where there are obvious gaps we will also try to come up with something new and then package this in a way that allows for the collection and analysis of incrementally more detailed markets information. We are expecting a draft shelter Pre Crisis Market Assessment to be ready for further testing in November. HFH working on this with others over the next 2 years.
