7	What the itinerary MAY look like: I'm hoping a group can meet down in Spanish Fork at 8:00 am, probably at the Spanish Fork Maceys, and then drive up to meet the northern group at the park and ride in Orem right off of 1600 North, approximate meeting time 8:30 am. It's between the north ramp freeway entrance and the Les Schwab. If we need to rearrange seats at that point, we can do that. We'll probably take two cars up. We should arrive at the visitors center on Antelope Island at 10:00 am. After 30 minutes or so at the visitors center, we'll head off to the Buffalo Point trailhead. We'll eat lunch at the tables at the base of the trail when we come back down. After that, we can either decided to do another portion of a hike, or head down to the lake and smell the stinky water and look at the vegetation that grows right along the salty water. I'm guessing we will leave around 3:00 or 4:00 pm, which means we'll arrive back at the Orem park and ride around 5:00 -5:30 and the Spanish Fork Macey's at around 5:30-6:00. We'll update parents on our schedule when we leave the state park.

9	Buffalo Point is a very short trail, but there is elevation gain and you'll need appropriate hiking shoes. At the top, there is a lot of room to run around and explore. It's flat down by the water, but the sand is nasty and you'll either want to just take off your shoes and go barefoot OR bring some more appropriate water shoes. Bring food and water, your nature journal, sunscreen/hat, and a light jacket. The weather should be nice, but it may be windy or cooler in the morning.
10	Sister Mock's van may be out on a campout at Little Grand Canyon (!!!) so it may not be available to take everyone up. Therefore, we are looking for one or two moms (or dads) who are interested in coming with us. We'll pay for your entrance fee to the state park, but we can't reimburse your gas. Please fill out the appropriate sign up if you are able and willing to drive.
