CollectionSpace 8.0 QA Testing Steps:

1. Visit the Test Cases worksheet and assign yourself a task by entering your name in the tester column. Put an X in the progress column. Please only select test cases with instructions outlined. Skip any with TBD noted in the test plan column.

2. Review the JIRA link for an overview of the change.

3. Follow the test instructions in the worksheet for each line. Note that the browser is not pre-assigned. Please note the browser that you used upon completing the test case. Please be sure to test in all of the profiles designated.

4. Generally use the new field/functionality on your own.

5. Found a bug? Have a question? You can enter the description of the issue right in the testing result note field. Please do not comment or note issues in JIRA directly.

Changes to LOGIN: The largest change for the 8.0 release is the introduction of SSO (Single Sign On). SSO will be optional. For the purposes of these test cases we will be testing without using SSO functionality. You will see that the login screen as changed as a result of this work. Click on the Sign in button, proceed to enter the user name and password at the next screen and then click continue with email and password.
