2026 Arch of Excellence Program

Overview

The AoE Program runs from 6/1/2025 to 5/31/2026. During that time a chapter can earn 47 points
5
(or more) from 24 catagories. The cumulative points earned will qualify the chapter to receive one
6
of the following awards:

Judah Award = 35 points or greater
8
Ephraim Award = 26 to 34 points
9
Rueben Award = 17 to 25 points
10
Dan Award = 8 to 16 points

Categories and Eligibility Requirements

1. Chapter Membership (maximum 3 points) - The Chapter exalts new members: must be recorded in MMS by 5/31/2026

a. Exalts 3 - 5 new members - 1 point

b. Exalts 6+ new members - additional 2 points

2. Member Retention - The chapter appoints a committee to make contact with each Chapter member by phone, email,
19
or in person who is behind in paying dues. The committee should inquire about any personal or financial issues that
20
could be contributing to the delay in paying dues. The committee report should contain the names, method of contact,
21
date of contact, and results of the conversations.

3. Chapter Invitation to Petition Program (ITP) - The Chapter participates in the ITP program. A report with a summery
25
of the work done in this program will include the number of intended ITP prospects receiving a successful ballot, the
26
number of actual petitions received, and number of candidates exalted through this program.

4. Public Installation of Officers (maximum 3 points) - All elected and appointed officers present at the installation

b. Meal (breakfast, lunch, or dinner) served before or after ceremony - 1 point

Note: If an officer is unable to attend due to extenuating circumstances, the Chapter may apply to the DDGHP for
33
exemption. If the absense is justified, the DDGHP will sign the documentation accordingly.

5. Chapter Dinner Meetings (maximum 2 points) - Chapter holds a dinner meeting from the options below.

Fraternal meal for Companions only to promote friendship and brotherly love. This meal may be done in
37
conjunction with a Stated or Special Convocation

Meal for prospective members and candidates (may include families) featuring a guest speaker
39
Family meal to honor our families, or more specificly, our significant others.

A report must include dates of meals, type of meal (from list above), and number in attendance.

a. First 2 Chapter Dinner Events from list above - 1 point

b. Remaining 2 Chapter Dinner Events - 1 point

6. Hold a Table Chapter - Table Chapter may be done as a closed meeting (Companions only) or an open meeting.

Resources for open and closed Table Chapter scripts are available on the Grand Chapter website. A meal must be a

part of the Table Chapter

A report must include date of event, open or closed event, and number in attendance.

7. Chapter Educational Programs - The Chapter conducts 4 educational programs spread across 4 different Stated or
51
Special Convocations. These are separate from events in Categories 5 and 6. A report documenting the programs will
52
include the topics presented, dates presented, who presented, and number of Companions present.

8. DDGHP Official Visit (OV) - All elected and appointed officers must be present at the OV.

a. The Chapter will officially receive the DDGHP per the standard work in the red book for the Reception of

the DDGHP. No ritual books will be used except for one Companion to act as the prompter - 1 point

9. MEGHP Official Visit (OV) - All elected and appointed officers must be present at the OV.

10. Grand Convocation Attendance - At least 2 of the 3 dais officers (Excellent High Priest, King and Scribe) and 1

other member shall have been present at the Annual Convocation of the Grand Chapter

11. Attend a School of Instruction (SOI) or Capitular Standard Club Meeting (CSC) - Submit a report documenting

the names of the Companions that attended, their office, and the date/location of the SOI/CSC

a. 1 dais officer (Excellent High Priest, King and Scribe) and 3 other members attend a SOI/CSC - 1 point

12. Progressive Ritualist Program - (unlimited points opportunity) A member earns any level of certification.

13. Degree Conferral at Another Chapter - Chapter will visit another chapter to assist in conducting one of the

4 degrees. The slate must include 4 members of your chapter in speaking parts. The report documenting the conferral

will include the date of the conferral, name and number of the Chapter that is being assisted, names of Companions
88
and the offices they filled in the slate. Chapter Days and York Rite Days do not count towards this category.

14. Chapter Visitation (maximum 2 points) - 1 dais officer (Excellent High Priest, King and Scribe) and 2 other members

attend a stated convocation of another chapter. A report of the visitation must include the date of the visit, name and

number of the Chapter visited, and the names and offices of the Companions that visited.

a. Chapter visits 3 different chapters - 1 point

b. Chapter visits 3 additional different chapters - additional 1 point

15. Lodge Visitation - 1 dais officer (Excellent High Priest, King and Scribe) and 2 other members attend a stated

meeting of a Blue Lodge to promote Royal Arch Masonry. A report of the visitation must include the date of the visit,
99
name and number of the Lodge visited, and the names and offices of the Companions that visited.

The lodge visited cannot be the home lodge of the dais officer that is attending.
