Summer Book List
2
These titles represent our diverse student body and the issues and topics they may be interested in. As the primary educator, we encourage you to discuss your student’s book choices and reading with them. Often this will open healthy conversations that help you reinforce your values in a context that allows your adolescent to explore multiple viewpoints. Reading with your child also helps them see literacy as a valuable activity as well as gives them the opportunity to connect with you during an often tumultuous developmental stage in their lives.

There will be assignments in the first week of school related to summer reading, so make sure your child reads at least one!
